Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Bella is a beautiful 4-year-old purebred female Boxer. While Bella wasn't a big fan of the shelter, she is doing wonderfully in her foster home, which includes two resident male dogs. Since being in foster care, Bella has become a relaxed and playful girl. Her whole body wiggles when she is happy or excited. She has a moderate to low energy level and does not require a whole lot of exercise, though a daily walk is certainly warranted. Bella would do well in a home with an adult male dog or as an only pet. She needs to be in a cat-free home since she has a significant amount of prey drive. She has done very well around small children and has never shown an ounce of aggressions towards humans. Bella has a tendency to be fearful around other dogs when on walks and she reacts with lunging and barking. She is easy to control, especially when she wears a Gentle Leader head harness. Bella is not a dog park dog and should always be walked on leash. Occasionally she is stubborn about coming when called (she is a Boxer, after all) but she loves following her human around the house and cuddling on the couch. She will also wake you up in the morning with lots of kisses.

Boxers are noted for not getting along with cats very well. Roco did not show interest in the cats here but could at his new home. Best if a no cat home. Companion Dog 1 Class to get Roco started off on the right paw. Roco is a confident young man that has a great deal of potential in his new home. Give him structure and a few rules to live by so he can show you his true self.
