Boxers are generally gentle and make a good playmate for children. They are affectionate, obedient and loyal. They retain their puppyish ways well into maturity.
Coat care is easy, just a light brushing, but the nails must always be kept short and the diet carefully balanced to prevent their tendency to be overweight. They are very energetic and need lots of exercise. Walks are good, but they are happiest when allowed to run around in a big fenced area. Come in and play with "George" in our doggie play yard.
