Dog needs to be homed with children ages 12 years and older due to size and play level. Dog knows sit command and takes treats gently.
Dog to dog interaction- high tail, a little piloerection, forward body. No other negative behaviors displayed- dog would need to be homed with a submissive female and not a dog for a off leash venue.

ID: C09-003033

Notes:
Hi, I'm Chico and I am about 3 years old. I was turned in to the shelter as a stray dog. I had to wait six long days before I could go up for adoption. I get along with older kids and other dogs. I am not yet average boxer. I am very laid back all I really want to do is cuddle. My adoption fee would be $121.00 if you live in the city of 29palms and $97.00 if you do not live in the city of 29palms. The difference in price is for a one year prepaid 29palms city license. This would also include a buster shot, a free health check up with the vet., my micro-chipping, the first year enrollment for my micro-chip, the adoption fee it's self, a leash, collar and tag, and a gift care bag to take home with you.

George - San Leandro, Ca

Petfinder PetNotes: "George
BoxerSize: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
ID: 84389

Notes:
Boxer fans rejoice! There is a noble male called George residing at Fairmont. George's family is moving and cannot take him with them, so he is awaiting a new home. Volunteers find George to be calm and very easy on leash - a pleasure to walk with. He is responsive and will sit on command. He will need only minimal grooming, but will require considerable daily exercise. George has lived with another dog; however, if you are seeking a companion for the canine already in your home, we encourage you to bring your dog for introductions to be sure they will be compatible. A full profile is available at the front desk. George is already neutered and can go home with you the day of adoption. Approximately 65-70 lbs. ~4 years old.

This animal is in the Fairmont Shelter. If you are interested in George, contact the Fairmont Animal Shelter at (510) 667-7707 from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM and give ID #84389.

Size: Medium
Age: Baby
Sex: Female

Notes:
RED needs a new foster home in or near Victorville until we can find her the forever home of her dreams :-)). Pls. contact WBNR for details.
RED is a darling 9 month old Boxer x Rhodesian Ridgeback pup with a docked tail. Her favorite toy is a braided rope toy. She loves to play and has a very soft mouth. She's very, very friendly with kids and other dogs. She displays curiosity towards cats, but has not been given direct access to one and so it is uncertain as to whether she would chase or not. Red's foster mom enjoys her companionship as do her grandchildren ages 4, 6 and 7, and says, 'This happy pup deserves a loving home because she is so wonderful!'
Please go to our Homepage and read about our program. If you are interested in meeting RED, please fill out our Application for Adoption, which is easily accessed, filled out and submitted right on line. Thank you for wanting to adopt a homeless pet.
