The retired couple who rescued him has other dogs they are all older and he is very playful. He is house trained and sleeps crated in their bedroom at night. He will let you know if he needs to go out and potty. He has had some formal obedience training. He knows sit, stay and down with hand signals. Duke has a sweet, mellow and is exuberant with life. He is affectionate, loves to watch TV, enjoys getting in bed with his family and likes to lay on his humans. He has only been around kids over 2 years old and is good with other dogs. He also enjoys car rides.

Abigail is a beautiful friendly adult female boxer. She gets excited when she gets to go out for a walk and pulls on the leash, but she settles down after a bit and walks nicely. If you take her for walks every day, and got plenty of exercise, she will learn to walk along with you without pulling. Abigail is a very sweet girl. She will probably chase cats, so a kitty free home would be best for her. She does appear to be house trained but she might need some gentle reminding when she goes to her new home until she settles in.
All pets must be spayed or neutered before going to their new home. Rabies vaccination is required on all dogs over 4 months old. Adoption cost is $125.00 including cost of spay/neuter and rabies vaccination.
