Now, i don't have much choice then get adopted by my new family so i'm waiting for someone to come and check me out and give me a chance. So if you are looking for a  pet i need a second chance why don't you come give me a happy home i will promise to love you unconditionally.

Please check out our website at www.ccspca.com All dogs and cats must be spayed / neutered before leaving our shelter. This is usually done after adoption, unless the animal was previously altered before entering our shelter. We want to do all we can to help facilitate all adoptions, many of our adopters are from out of the area and can not make two trips. If you are coming from out of town please call or email in advance to find out if the pet you are interested in is ready to go home on the day you will be traveling. While we do our best to answer all emails, there may be a delay. It is important that you include the animal ID number in all inquiries. Many of our dogs and cats were strays when they came in so we have limited information, however all animals are temperament tested before being placed for adoption. There is no guarantee on how these animals will be behave in your home. Thank you in advance for considering our wonderful animals. The California SPCA encourages you to come visit our shelter and view the many other wonderful dogs, cats and other wonderful babies we currently have up for adoption. All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and age appropriately vaccinated before leaving the shelter. Please keep in mind that some of our pets may require booster vaccines after being adopted. You are welcome to come down and take a dog out for a walk, or just sit and pet a lonely head. The sunshine does wonders for their health and wellbeing. Kitties love to play and you can spend some time petting them and cuddling. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes and forever families. If you would like to learn more about becoming a member of the CCSPCA, adopting, volunteering or fostering for the CCSPCA please visit our shelter either in person or on the web at http://www.ccspca.com. Our shelter is open every day of the year (yes, even holidays!) from 8am to 4pm. On Wednesdays, we offer extended hours and remain open from 8am to 7pm. Our shelter is located at 103 South Hughes Avenue in Southwest Fresno right off of 180 West; if you follow 180 West it will end at Hughes, look to your right you will see our beautiful big red barn that announces SPCA IF YOU CAN'T ADOPT CONSIDER A DONATION PLEASE

Remember one breeding pair of cats can contribute 420,000 cats to the community over 7 years. This number is unforgivable.

  1. My next door neighbor has a 24 hr a day chained female beautiful boxer girl. It is raining now and she is still chained. She gets no interaction with anyone. Once in awhile, they call to her and try to teach her to sit. She is so high strung from being chained all the time, that she can't comply. Then they just keep shouting "Sit Poppy, Sit!"
It breaks my heart. Please give advice.

    I don't know what to do...please help

  2. God I think I lost the post, or it was too long. Anyway, the dog was very excited and I was wondering if he was excited just to be freed or what.

We said our good byes and the guy told the dog to jump in the back seat of the car. The window was rolled down.

The dog immediately jumped in. That was an incredible feeling. At that time I KNEW I found the owner.
