Ozzy - Chico, Ca

Petfinder PetNotes: "Ozzy
Boxer
Size: Large
Age: Young
Sex: Male
ID: A07614150s

Notes:
This super cute face belongs to Ozzy, a two year old boxer. Ozzy was surrendered to us in May 2009 because his family had to move to an apartment and he needed more room to run and play. Boxers are not mellow dogs and need lots of stimulation and exercise to keep them healthy and happy. Ozzy was an indoor dog with outdoor privileges and is housetrained. Ozzy’s tail has not been docked and it can be quite painful when he’s happy. A small child would easily be knocked over by his muscular tail without Ozzy even realizing it. Ozzy did grow up with children between the ages of two and seven and his family said he would play very nicely with them. I’m sure Ozzy could live with kids again as long as they are dog savvy and once again, don’t mind being knocked over by a big tail. Ozzy also lived with three cats in his previous home. His owner said he would sleep with them and got along great, so of course he could live with cats in his new home as well. When it comes to other dogs, Ozzy is a play machine! He can’t get enough playtime and would be ecstatic to find a new home with other dogs. Ozzy loves to snuggle and is an overgrown lap dog. He is a definite social butterfly and has no problems making new friends. He’ll be perfect for a family that is active and very loving, just like him. Adoption- $250
